The new Parish Council of Stoke Park & Cheswick is empowered to award grants to organisations or groups operating within this Parish. The annual budget available for such grant aid has been set and preference will normally be given to non-profit making organisations which are based within the Parish. Grants can be awarded for capital expenditure to set up or improve services or facilities rather than day to day operational expenditure (although assistance with operational costs may be included).
The Parish Council will consider applications for grants from voluntary groups or charitable organisations and to qualify for an award the applicant must be able to demonstrate that any funding will benefit the Parish, or residents of the Parish.
